Greg Kennen passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his home in Goodyear, Arizona at the age of 55 from cancer. Gregory Robert Kennen was born September 23, 1963 to Robert and Janet Kennen in Rush City, Minnesota. Greg graduated from Rush City High School and Pine Technical College. He worked at the Amber Mill in Rush City until moving to Phoenix in 1998, where he was employed by Home Depot and Bay State Milling. Throughout his career, Greg enjoyed home remodeling and woodworking. Greg is survived by his sister Jackie (Jon) Pedersen of Stillwater; nieces Katelyn and Maren Pedersen; nephew David (Amy) Pedersen; grand-niece Greta Pedersen; many cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Janet Kennen. Pastor Jeremey King will officiate at funeral services for Greg: 2:30 PM; Sunday, April 28, 2019 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rush City. A visitation for family and friends will begin prior to the service at 1:00 PM. The interment will take place at First Lutheran Cemetery in Rush City.
