Sharon L. Peterson, age 80 of North Branch passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis.

Sharon was born on November 12, 1938 in Neenah, Wisconsin to parents, Edwin and Pearl (Smith) Conger. She attended schools in Wisconsin before her family moved to North Branch in her early teens and she graduated with the North Branch Class of 1956. Sharon married Lynn Perrin and they lived in Sacramento, California and Hawaii before moving back and settling in North Branch. She later met Gordy Sederberg and they were married several years before he passed away on December 13, 1982. Sharon was a homemaker most of her life taking care of her home and raising her children. She eventually worked as a library aide at the North Branch Middle School and retired from there after several years. Sharon was also an active and longtime member of the Eastern Star. She met John Peterson while working at the school and they would eventually marry. Sharon moved to the Ecumen Assisted Living Apartments in February of 2018. Sharon loved planting flowers, reading, sewing and time out by the pool. She truly loved her time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, John Peterson, Sr; children, Vicki (Don) Borowick of North Branch, Grant (Kari) Perrin of White Bear Lake, John Perrin of North Branch, Robert (Dana) Sederberg of Lino Lakes and Troy Sederberg of North Branch, John (Jewell) Peterson, Jr. of Almelund, Jan (Scott) Pearson of Stacy and Ruth (Joe) Pierce of Pine City; her sister, Diane (Ron) Barsness of North Branch as well as her 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
