Ruth Hedlund Samuelson was the daughter of Andrew Hedlund and Alma Nordell Hedlund Henning. She married Joseph Theodore Samuelson about 1920 and had three children, James, Jon and Mary. After Ted's death she moved to the St.. Louis Park and Minneapolis area to be close to her son JT and his wife Marcellea who cared for her until she moved in 1988 to live nearher daughter Mary in Brighton, CO. She died on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 23,1989 and was buried in Grasston, MN at the Grasston Union Cementery
